RIVERLIGHTS FINALE

The multi layered activation for Maitland Riverlights Finale will integrate with the community lantern parade through The Levee Shared Zone and lantern flotilla on the Hunter River, and will feature stories, dance and artworks created with local community groups participating in Maitland Riverlights. Reflecting diverse cultural connections that link water with creativity and community vitality, the program will focus on the river as an enlivened space of symbolic significance to many diverse cultures.

The Finale Parade will commence from The Levee Shared Zone from approximately 7.30pm and make its way down to the riverbank after 7.45pm. As you arrive at the riverbank, enjoy a choreographed Dance as One performance taking place on stage.

There will be a dazzling light show on the riverbank as Amaru Tribe headline the Riverlights Stage and 100’s of lanterns are released onto the Hunter River creating a magical and unforgettable scene for audiences to revel in.
