Leading up to Riverlights on 8 October 2022, the community is invited to make their own paper lanterns to be part of the flotilla at the festival with free workshops.
Children aged 5-14 are welcome to come along and participate in school holidays workshops at one of Council’s libraries leading up to the event.
Library workshops will not be the only way to participate outside of the event. There will also be free lantern making workshops running at Riverlights during the festival.
These workshops are free craft activities which allow kids to get involved in a fun and colourful way.
More information about these workshops will be available closer to the event.
